Annie Merner Chapel

Named after its generous donor, construction for the Annie Merner Chapel began in 1948 and was finally completed in 1949 at a cost of nearly $500,000. The front of it faces south, gazing upon the front of the Henry Pfeiffer Library on the MacMurray College campus in Jacksonville, Illinois.
