No Time To Care: Improving the Patient Experience in 60 Seconds or Less

Throughout the United States, hospitals are challenged to meet the needs of their patients as well as the overwhelming regulatory and accreditation standards, set forth by governing bodies and accrediting agencies. In this challenging new work environment, patients are often cared for by bedside caregivers who are overwhelmed by the pressure to meet all of the expectations of the patients in their care, in addition to the expectations of their employers. Many nurses express that they feel overworked and believe they don't have time to provide compassionate patient centered care. When the nurses feel they don't have the time to fully care for their parents, burnout is sure to follow. In this presentation, nurses learn how to provide compassionate care to their patients WITHOUT adding anything more to their already busy day. The result? A patient experience that will exceed expectations and lead to the patient satisfaction scores that you desire.

No Time To Care: A Leadership Game Plan To Ensure Caregiver Engagement

How do you get a multigenerational workforce, who is feeling overwhelmed and burned out, to become motivated and accountable? In this constantly changing healthcare environment many leaders are expected to meet the metrics and goals set by their organizations and various regulatory bodies, while motivating the overworked and overwhelmed bedside caregivers enough to achieve the desired results. The reality is that patient satisfaction is the indirect measure of bedside caregiver engagement. This presentation will help leaders to energize, empower and engage the bedside caregiver so that they WANT to work for them to meet the desired departments goals. The speaker will provide an 8 step process that is easy to implement, inexpensive to maintain and most importantly, fun to do!
