Ridley Barron is an author, internationally known speaker and tireless advocate for patient safety. After a tragic car accident that took the life of his wife, Ridley’s 17-month-old son Joshua was killed by a medication error at the hospital where he was cared for after the accident.

Carrying the power of personal experience, Ridley approaches the subject of Patient Safety and Quality of Care as few can. His powerful message of hope, healing, and forgiveness empowers patients, families, clinicians and those impacted by adverse medical events. It leaves a lasting impression and offers vital challenging improvements in patient safety and quality of care.

​In January 2012 Ridley Barron released his long awaited book Twist of Faith which transparently records his journey from shocking tragedy to unfolding grace. His message has been published in numerous magazines and medical publications as he works to bring good from a tragic story.
