“For what it’s worth, it’s never too late to be whoever you want to be…”

Welcome to my new adventure! 🙂

I’ve been experiencing a shift in myself on a soul level for several months now. Following the tragic passing of a dear colleague a year ago, I felt compelled to learn more about the things I had been skeptical of…the afterlife, meditation, angels, chakras, psychics, tarot…anything that couldn’t be explained or defined scientifically just didn’t exist in my book. Until I lost Linda.

Though she was gone, I continued to feel her presence. I had experienced the deeply painful loss of loved ones before, but this time was different. Because her passing had been so sudden and unexpected, it was as if her energy was still here in the place she spent so much time. I wanted to believe it was possible, and so I started digging in and researching. I didn’t anticipate how my soul would respond to what I learned.

I am not here to “sell you” on the existence of the truths I’ve discovered. What I share are 100% my own thoughts, beliefs and opinions. I have no desire to argue or debate the philosophies I live my life by. However, I do hope you will take a moment to consider one of my favorite quotes from Ancient Aliens,”What if…it was true?” 👽

That’s the concept that helped truly open my eyes and my heart to the forces that can’t be seen or touched. I practiced various meditations, participated in energetic healing sessions, developed an affinity for crystals, joined intuition-development groups and began to pray. Then one day, I learned what it all meant… I was experiencing a spiritual awakening.

Once I stopped trying to control it and accepted this transition with full faith and trust that the universe would have my back, the epiphanies started popping like flashbulbs. There was a common thread weaving together all the seemingly random aspects of my life. My perspective had shifted so that I was finally able to see the image depicted in this wondrous tapestry–the image that would identify and clarify my purpose. It was a camera…it was Scenic Vibe Photography.

Scenic Vibe Photography

Photography has always been a passionate hobby. Shortly after I purchased my first camera, I discovered that I was very good at annoying people during special occasions and gatherings with my snaps. When I turned to nature, I found that I could take a hundred pictures of the same tree or flower or rock and still find another angle to take “just one more.” (I also found that nature doesn’t mind having a lens in its face the way a child does!)

Through this site, I hope to use my “photographic voice” to relay the messages of beauty, peace and love that I see in nature. As I share my journey with you, I’m excited to see how my vision evolves…how my photography and spirituality begin to influence each other to create inspirational pieces that resonate on a soul level.

In all honesty, I wasn’t sure how to begin or end this first post, but in true Universal fashion, the answer came to me through synchronicity. Twice today I’ve seen the phrase “curious case,” which made me think of Benjamin Button. ❤️

“…I hope you live a life you’re proud of. If you find that you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again.”
